Hello,

I’m using Photoshop 5.5 on Windows XP. Recently my color settings changed – when I load Photoshop, the only color that is available is pink, so any image that I open has only pink and black hues. I did not change anything, so I’m not sure what caused this and how I can fix it. Any help would be greatly appreciated it!

Thanks in advance!

Anna

It sounds like re-running the Adobe Gamma utility to create a new monitor profile, might be in order. The monitor profile is used to display any image on the screen, if yours is badly corrupted, you could see what you see. Some people just have black and white. <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_2.htm> .

Another possible solution might be deleting the prefs file, but my initial guess is the monitor profile.
