Photoshop 7 doesn’t start

Since I installed Kaspersky anti virus on a customers PC Photoshop 7 doesn’t start anymore… so says my customer.
Just the splash screen comes up then the program dies. A new install didn’t change anything. Are ther any items to remove in the registry before a new install?
I should be glad about any hint.

Try trashing the Preferences as detailed in the FAQs
