Can’t access photo’s from File browser

When I open file browser to look at my photo’s, half of them are just black. I can still move the mouse over top, and guess where they are, and open them, but I can’t see the thumbnail. Does anyone have any ideas why this may be happening??? And better yet, how to fix it.

Bev,

What OS are you using and how much memory do you have?? Do you have a huge number of images in this one folder? If so, try dividing that folder’s contents into 2 or more folders.
