Users have been working with Fujitsu (M4097D) scanner connect by SCSI card for over 3 years. Scans from PhotoShop (CS 2 ver. 9.0) have been slower that usual. I tried re-installing Photoshop and the Twain (32) drive with same results. I took a different PC and and installed the drives from the other PC and printing was ok for awhile, then users said it was slower again. Also the SCSI cable was replaced.

When scanning the message "Xfer buffered memory" comes up. I installed a Fujitsu software program called Scandall21 and it actually scans very fast, at the rate the users have been use to.
The problem with that program is that is scans to Tif files and not jpeg. It does not scan multiple pages very well. It showed me that there is some issue with PhotoShop and the Twain driver.
Users scan large amounts of legal size paper.
