I’m usually quicker at the draw to install new versions of Photoshop. Alas I was a day late 😉 I’m on a PC(Intel mobo, Core-duo E6600, XP-Pro, 4G RAM w/3G switch) and wonder if there’s a simple fix for this one?
If I launch PS10 and then Bridge 2,0,0,975, Bridge crashes when I close it. If I load Bridge before PS10 all is fine. If I open Bridge alone and close it all is fine. If I open 9.02 and then Bridge 2,0,0,975 and close bridge before closing PS it closes fine.
Am I going to find out that this is normal for under XP and Adobe will recommend that I upgrade to Vista (yuck) before their new baby will behave properly?
I un-installed the Beta about a month ago, ie: before installing this version. I’ve tried reducing my memory alotted to PS (2640 MB is indicated as ‘available’ with a recommended range of 1456-1906 MB). Setting RAM as low as 500 MB still causes Bridge to crash with the following error info:
AppName: bridge.exe
AppVer: 2.0.0.975
ModName: ntdll.dll
ModVer: 5.1.2600.2180
Offset: 00018fea
Anyone got any ideas?
If there’s a possibility that there were some old file wasn’t deleted by the Beta uninstaller I’ll try uninstalling this version and then go through all the hiding places in the Registry to delete any leftovers.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Russell
