Is is possible to upgrade from 6.0 to CS3?

I have the Windows 6.0 version of photoshop, but I want to upgrade it to the latest version. Does anyone know if it’s possible to upgrade to CS3 or if not what would the most recent compatible version be? Thanks!

You’re a day late. You won’t be able to buy it from Adobe but perhaps some online retailer still have CS2 available. If so, order it now and then present the proof of purchase to Adobe.

You should be eligible for a free upgrade to CS3.

The cut off version of upgrades is 7.0. So no you can’t go from 6.0 to CS3 using an upgrade. You would need to find a newer version. Bob is right if you can find a CS2 package you could get the upgrade to CS3 that way.

really? i thougt they weren’t shipping cs3 until the 20th? (at least that’s what amazon said this morning.)

btw, iirc i paid 169 bux for cs2 from adobe. the bastages! 🙂

I thought the cut off was the day Adobe started shipping (today) but If you can buy CS2 you might just get the CS3 better hurry!

That’s where my copy of PS CS2 is coming from, ordered on Sunday the 15th.

Last I checked earlier during Monday afternoon, their website doesn’t even have any info about PS CS3.

If you buy from a retailer other than Adobe make sure they’re an authorized seller. You’ll need proof of purchase to get the free upgrade.
