I posted the same question a bit ago but had a mis-spelled word in the subject that made no sense. Here is my question again:

I’ve used Photoshop for years and always saved any files that had type on layers as eps files and the "include vector data" box was always there to check. This morning I "placed" an eps that was created in Illustrator. Everything about the logo was vector outlines. However, when I went to save this photoshop file as an eps the "include vector data" box was grayed out and uncheckable. Why? I am using CS2.
