I have been trying to automate putting a border around an image, then placing text in the border.

I can get this done, except for one problem. I shoot both horizontally as well as vertically. When I try to process all the horizontal pix, it places the text fine. When i try to process the vertical, it does not.

I have tried using different methods of creating the text, but to no avail.

Is there a way to say, have the lower right hand corner of the text be x pixels from the corner? If not, is there some way to place the text relatively?

Any help on this would be appreciated.

Thanks
Nick

Yes. You can Select All, Layer>Align to Selection Bottom, then Right. Then, using Transform back off however many pixels you want (arrow keys are good for this). Make it an action and you are golden.

Ed:

Great suggestion… had never considered Edit > Free Transform for this.
