I have a black and white drawing of a princess on a horse (not that that matters) and instead of black, I want the entire thing changed to purple. It’s all line art. So I don’t want it filled. It’s black. I want it purple. How do I do such a simple thing? Thank you for anyone who can help me!!!!!!

Lynn, I’m assuming the background of your line drawing is white and the drawing itself is black ? The easiest way to change the color of the line drawing itself is to use the magic wand on the white backgound…this will select the entire white background and do a ‘select inverse’…this will select the black line drawing ( this is much easier than to try and select the black line drawing with the magic wand ) then go to toolbar>layer>new fill layer>solid color…then pick your desired purple shade.
