Hello!

When I open an image in CS4 at less that a size that fills up the entire frame, I get these blue and red blocks of screen artifacts. When I increase the image size to fill the scree, then reduce it, they are gone. And subsequent images do not have the problem.

Not a biggie, but not inspiring either…

(dual monitor, but it does it on either…)

You don’t by chance have the "Bigger Tiles.plugin" enabled do you?

David,

If these artifacts change with screen refreshes or image scaling, and do not print, it is likely a problem with your monitor’s graphics card.

David:

Which video card do you have? And are you using Open GL/Advanced Drawing?

Bigger Tiles may well be causing the problem — try removing or disabling that plugin.
