I’m using Photoshop CS2 on a Dell Windows XP system and have a wide Acer flat screen monitor. Recently printing has become bad. The pictures look good in photoshop (and picasa2 which I use for folder management. When I print a picture the aspect ratio is changed and the printed picture is wider and squatter (mildly, but unacceptably). The picture on print preview also looks OK.
I’d be very grateful for help

Is your monitor set to display at its native resolution? Many widescreen monitors have 1650 x 1080, but check yours. If it’s not, then your screen will not properly display the aspect ratio of images and they will look different when printed at the proper aspect ratio.
