How are these different?

Well, for one thing Photoshop doesn’t have Snippets. Dreamweaver has snippets and that is just a way of storing bits of HTML or other code that you use often so that you don’t have to keep typing it in or cutting and pasting.

If you have Photoshop look in the help on Smart Objects.

Are you referring to InDesign snippets?

Bob,
yes, I learned about snippets studying InDesign. I guess the smart objects are from Illustrator and not PS. Perhaps I’ll ask this question next door.

They are completely different things. I wouldn’t even try to compare the two.
