Is there an easy way to simulate a black and white newspaper print on an Espon Photo 2200 for check prints? The check print I made looks nothing like the one the newspaper printed.

Newspapers have dot gain to deal with, so i think it would be tough to get an accurate representation off a 2200.

You need to have an accurate profile of both your printer and the newspaper’s press to accurately proof this.

(I am assuming you are familiar with colour management, if not, read up on it, it’s what you need for what you want to do)
