Hi,

I have an image layer that’s square with an image inside of it. I would like to have a shadow behind it. I have zero idea how to do it. I tried the help section, but am totally lost.

I just want a simple shadow (off to an angle) behind it. Is there an easy way to do this?

Thanks.

Sergio

Click on the f in a circle in the layers palette. that brings up the effects dialog, and there you select drop shadow and adjust accordingly. you must have a layer to apply the effects, which you said you have.
