I’ve enabled offline files on my windows 2003 small business server, and synchronise the files for use on my home PC via VPN, however i’ve been getting an error in photoshop since then that says the file i am tryign to save is in use despite never having existed before.
Now I get this error on every PC on the network when i try to save to a directory that is setup for sync’ing. It’s very frustrating as it often occurs on files i have open and the only solution is to save locally and then copy to the server.
Photoshop creates a .tmp file when trying to save to a offline folder which remains after the error box appears. and another file with 4 random letters also appears but no photoshop files. Other programs have problems saving too but photoshop seems to be the most troublesome.
Has anyone encountered this before?
Any help suggestions appreciated.
