I just bought a new PC to run CS2 and would like to upgrade the video card to get better graphics performance out of the program. What card(s) is the best on the market for this?

Well you do not need a "gamers" video card if that’s what you wanted to know.

The one we are using here is an e-GeForce 6200

works fine on both XP_32 and XP_64

PS doesn’t really use the Video card that intensively.

If I wanted to optimize the performance of PS, I’d put my money on more RAM and disk space

Excellent point…
and don’t forget the CPU…
a fast one.
I did not put a ton of money into the video card…
….saved it for the CPU. Went with a dual core (X2-3800) It sure made a big difference!
