I have been scanning old family photos using an Epson Perfection 3200 which bundled PSE 2. I have used PSE 2 to adjust the contrast and brightness and to label the people in the photos for future reference.
I have then tried to click on the "merge Layers" in the layers menu. They have been saved as Tiff and Jpeg.
Some Jpeg photos have been taken to Walmart for printing. After several attempts in file formats and such, they do not print legibly but look somewhat like a negative, with the right half of the photo on the left or top half on the bottom. I have wasted some time and Walmart"s photo paper with only one print successfully printed. I don’t know what I did different on that one. Any suggestions would be helpful. It seem I need to get a good photo printer and do it myself if a printer would not have the same problem as the Walmart printer.
