Help! I have just installed this on my new computer. I am trying to calibrate my new monitor, but cannot find any trace of the "Adobe Gamma" file!? I had it on the old computer. What have I done wrong? Have I missed something?

Will appreciate anyone’s help.

Thanks,

Lou Zalany

Louis,
It should be in the Windows control panel. If not, and it’s not uncommon for it to be missing, look in "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Calibration" for "Adobe Gamma.cpl" . Right click on it and select " run with control panel" . That should work.

FYI, If your flat screen monitor is an LCD display, you’ll want to pay particular attention to that particular section of this techdoc: <http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/1403e.htm> .

If it is a CRT display, this tutorial is a dandy : <http://www.computer-darkroom.com/ps7-colour/ps7_2.htm> .

Hope this gets you going <G> .

🙂

Brent
