I just re-installed Photoshop Elements 2 on my new PC (Dell 8300, P4, 1.0G RAM) which is running Windows XP Professional. When I try to print an image to a SONY DPP-SV77 digital photo printer, Photoshop Elements crashes/hangs up and displays an Error Dialog Window saying that "Adobe Photoshop Elements has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." The Error Dialog also allows me to send an error report to Microsoft. The "Error signature" in the error report lists the following:
AppName: photoshopelements.exe
ModName: comdlg32.dll
ModVer: 6.0.2800.1106
Offset: 000079f3
There is also a detailed portion of the error report which I did not include (for space reasons).

I have installed the latest driver for the DPP-SV77, and the printer appears to print, without error, from other applications. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Any suggested fixes? Thanks!

Mark
