When I have a file approximately 2gb I save it as a psb.

However it the file is (lets say) 1.95gb is there a great disadvantage to saving as a psb when the file can be saved as a psd?

Sometimes I have a 1.95 gb file that I tweak only to find out the file is not too large to save as a psd.

Thoughts anyone.

no.

But if its that close and it goes over and you save as psd, you’re f_cked.

Tiff files can go up to 4GB.
