Saving groups in History

I remember a few versions ago you could save and in the history pallet you would have "layers" of saved times. In other words, if I saved 10 times I could go there and go back to the 8th save. i loved the feature, but now I don’t have it and I was wondering if I had something set up wrong.

Are you talking about the snapshot feature in the history pallet? not sure if it saves layers or not.

In the History panel, go to the flyout menu and select History Options. You’ll want to check the option to ‘Automatically Create New Snapshot When Saving’. This will give you a snapshot of each saved state of your image. Note however, this is a snapshot, not a layer…
