Of course you are still invited to visit and soon I hope. I appreciate all of your input and changes will be made. As for the pricing that will all be replaced with shopping cart as soon as I figure it out.

Hi, James,
Asking my opinion of something written is like waving the proverbial
red flag in front of a bull’s nose 🙂 Hopefully, you won’t consider me a total opinionated pain in the butt with these thoughts . . . (especially since I don’t have my own website for others to critique!)
Although the picture of you is really well done and I think it adds a
nice personal touch to your site, I also think adding one of the pictures you’re selling to both the first page and the pricing page will grab the viewer’s eye and keep the potential buyer interested in the photographs you’re selling while reading the presented information.
I was a bit confused with the pricing page. At first I thought the
numbers (1., 2., 3., etc.) referred to individual numbered pictures, then discovered that the pictures weren’t numbered. Then I decided that if the picture was described as an 8×10, then I needed to locate the prices for the 8×10’s. (Can I assume that the 8×10 White Cow can’t be purchased in a 5×7 size?) If the 1-2-3 numbers preceding the sizes on the pricing page have no direct link to particular pictures, then I think you should leave those leading numbers off.
I would like to suggest a 3-column format for your pricing chart
(instead of your single column) to make it easier to decipher the costs. If buyers can purchase different sizes of each picture (dot leaders ONLY there to push the columns apart in this Forum):
Size…….Print Only…..Matted Print
4×6……….$12…………….$22
5×7……….$18…………….$30
8×10………$25…………….$40
If you’re selling only the six pictures and buyers can’t purchase
different sizes of each picture, then I would suggest listing the names of the pictures and their sizes instead of the sizes only on the pricing page:
Picture……………Print Only….Matted Print
White Cow (8×10)………$25…………$40
Three Deer (5×7)………$18…………$30
For consistency’s sake, I would suggest always putting the smaller
size-number first (e.g., 4×6 vs. 6×4). On your gallery page, you list the Three Deer as a 5×7 and the Cabin as a 7×5. On your pricing page, you list the smaller pictures as 6×4 but the larger pictures as 5×7 and 8×10.
Since your prices don’t include cents like $22.50, you could drop the
".00" on each one ($22) — makes the amounts look smaller 🙂
Will your prices include shipping costs? Any discount for multiple
purchases?
I’m big on "active" vs. "passive" voice (but this may not be your
style and that’s okay!)If you’d like bolder, though, I think you need to "toot your horn" and skip: ["Golden Road" is the first photograph I have had published] and dive right in with: ["Golden Road" was published by (newspaper) ..] Brag a bit! No need to tell people that you’re new to this.
In place of: [If you are ever in the vicinity of Western Colorado be
sure and make time to visit Cedaredge] maybe something bolder like
[Traveling to Western Colorado? Be sure to venture over to the charming
town of Cedaredge nestled on the southern slopes of scenic Grand Mesa. Drop in at the Apple Shed’s aGalleria where you can view my photos and ….]
In your sentence, …along with many other artist…, I believe the
word "artist" needs to be "artists."
Good luck on your site, James! I wish I were bold enough to do
something like this!! Maybe you could show me how you did this when I get up your way, if I’m still invited 🙂
