Can you see the Previews in Bridge?

How have you set your Photoshop File Saving Prefs regarding icons and previews?

Save the PSD file with Maximize Compatibility to fix the preview.

They DO preview correctly in Bridge.

File saving prefs are default CS3 setting: "File Saving Options" – Image previews – Always save.

Opening and re-save with Max. Comp. makes no change. (i always ok this dialog box anyway)

do things work in a new user?

No. I created a new identity and the .psd previews don’t work in that User either…

This is a brand new Mac Pro 2.8 GHz Quad core Intel Xeon, 3 weeks old, so this is pretty screwy…

As was suggested previously, this is probably yet another incompatibility between Leopard and CS3 (which was written for Tiger).

If you organize and open your files from Bridge, you won’t run into this problem.

Or wait for CS4.
