I want to place text and an image onto an image of a book that is on its side. I think there is any easy way to make it look like the text and image are on the cover of the book . . . Can somebody help me? I used distort -> warp, which works but not as well as I would like.

Try using Filter/Vanishing Point for that.

I agree, this is where Vanishing Point works well.

A simple Transform > Perspective might work. If so, it is certainly simpler to set up. Than Vanishing Point.

Transform > distort works well too.

right. You nearly always have to do a little distort finishing up after using the perspective transformation to get things started.
