Where are the Special Characters and Glyhs located? I have Photoshop CS2 ME Version. I can’t seem to find them.

To expand…those things are in Windows, not Photoshop. What I have done is make a shortcut to the Character Map and put it in my Quick Launch area in the Taskbar. It’s amazing how handy that can be.

The Windows character map doesn’t always have all the special characters and glyphs. If you are using an OpenType font, the special characters and glyphs are available, sort-of, from the dropdown menu of the character palette. I say sort-of, because the dropdown just allows you to specify which types of special characters and glyphs to use when you type (as shown below). If you want to know which keys or key combinations to use to get them, you can go to the font vendor’s site and get a pdf file that explains it all.
