Is Clean Script that bad?

I’ve deleted the application for the trial version of Photoshop CS3 and have been meaning to use the Clean Script, but I haven’t backed up my system like the script page says I should.
Is it a good idea to back it up? Or, if you have other ways for me to uninstall Photoshop CS3 (for Mac) feel free to tell me!

Its always a good idea to back up. but if you run the script on low the first choice you should be fine.
