Hi,

Does anybody know if I can create a selection using what I get from a black and white image?

Let’s say I have an image and then desaturate it. Is there anyway I can make exactly what I see into a mask/alpha channel? I’m sure I could use selective color, but I was wondering if there is an easy way of doing this.

Thanks

Why not

1. Select All
2. Copy
3. Make new channel
4. Paste

Or command-click on the composite icon in the Channels-Palette and use that selection.
