output crisp text

hi people, use photoshop 7 on a windows xp sp2 platform. my problem is that i can’t make my text appear crisp when making banners and buttons. my text appears as if pixelated and i have tried changing resolution to no avail. i hope there’s a solution to this.

What is the resolution? Have you tried anti-aliassing in the options bar?

Screenshot perhaps?

have used 72 dpi – 300 dpi but to no avail. what else could i try

Unless you have a postscritp printer, save as PDF and print from Acrobat.
