Ordered Mac v Windows can I still use the key?

Hi,
I’m moving from Elements to PS and running on my 30 day trial. I’ve ordered PS2 but somehow made a mistake and ordered the Mac version, instead of Windows. Instead of returning it, I’m wondering if I can just use the registration key that comes with the Mac version and continue to use the downloaded Windows version. Does anyone know if that will work, or do I need to return it? Does anything else come in the package that I would miss, e.g., a users manual, offers, other sw?

Do not open it. Return it and get the Windows version.

All the software is missing. The Mac and PC versions are totally separate and different.

The manual is common.

(Not that that effects the situation 😉 )
