I have a double-monitor setup, both running at 1600 x 1200. I usually have my tool set to the rectangular Marquee, with precision cursor display, and it’s cursor is often very hard to see/find.

How about this:

When you move the mouse/cursor quickly, it changes to something more visible than the thin crosshair, etc…

Cheers

Only works when the cursor is over the image.

And when it’s not over the image, it changes back into the default cursor (black arrow) which means you should see it

Hmm… There’s sometimes a longish delay (2-3 seconds) before it changes back. And sometimes, it gets stuck in some form until you actually switch apps. (I’ve noticed this with other OSX apps as well).
