Used to be that when you used the eraser tool it would show you an outline of the diameter of the brush, so that it was, well, useful. Apparently the geniuses who did CS3 thought it would be fun for this to be a complete guessing game as to where the edges of the brush are. Does anyone know how to disable this "improvement" and get the brush to show it’s outline like in all older versions of PShop?

If any developers are reading this, I would change it back to the way it is. I don’t think anyone would view this as an improvement.

It works as always, for me.

I hesitate to mention the Cursor Preference, ’cause I’m sure you checked that; so maybe you better just trash ’em all and see what happens.

If you’re on a Mac-Intel machine, it’s an issue with the brushes. Read the FAQs on the CS3beta forum, the release notes, and a gazillion existing threads on the subject over there.

The solution is to run CS3beta under Rosetta until the final release fixes it.

This is the wrong forum for the CS3 beta.
