How do you make the pallet well WIDER so that you can see all the tabs separately and not on top of one another?

The palette well isn’t adjustable, so increasing the resolution of your monitor is the only way to make room for additional tabs.

Yep – gotta go with 1024 by 768 if you want some room in the palette well.
