Actually, that IS related, Jane. Looks at all the ideas we can use for the PSE Challenge in these images!

All those pictures are from the worth1000 website – they have some interesting photoshopping contests (including some for beginners, similar to the challenge), good tutorials and some of the winning entries to the advanced contests are just amazing

it’s worth a look…

Worth, oh my goodness what a bunch of great funny photos! Neat site, will have to look thru it tomorrow with more time.
I have got so many great bookmarks and favourites, that I must try to put them into folders tomorrow too.
Fun stuff.

I checked out the site several months ago; but although the pictures on the site are often well done and interesting, I find the site’s FAQ list even more interesting. I’ve never seen so many rules in my life; they go on and on and on forever. Check out all the themes (cliches) you can’t use in your pictures from Great White Sharks to pieces of previous pictures. No obvious filters. And no "cut and pastes" that the webmasters feel don’t show enough time invested in creating the pictures. What I love about Grant’s Challenge site is that you can submit anything from awful to great without threat of censureship (except, of course, in the very rarest of occasions). Thank you, thank you, Grant!

You would expect with so many rules that the comments would be of a professional level. Unfortunately these range from "awesome" to "grrreaat picture" and rarely exceed that level. These comments boost your ego initially but you get tired of them in the end and you don’t learn anything from them.
Many of the comments in the challenge here are on a higher level and quality.

Jane,

Since those photos can be done in Elements, I don’t see anything at all OT about them<g>. Some great stuff.
