Sharpening and Halftones

I read the Bruce Fraser book on sharpening in PSCS2, and in it he gives recommendations for output sharpening to different output devices.

In regards to output to halftone/film, is it correct that you would give more aggressive sharpening to an 85 line screen as opposed to a 300 line screen being that the dots are bigger/farther apart than in the 85, and therefore needs a bigger sharpening halo?

Pretty much. An 85 line screen would lose a lot more detail than 300 LPI. A stronger sharpening at 300 would be far more obvious (and usually not desirable).
