Once upon a time, I could select (and find) an object layer by opt+click on the layout with the Move Tool.
Now, I don’t know what’s changed, but I can’t do it anymore. If I opt+click the layout with th Move Tool I can only select the layer Group.
Can anybody help me?? Thanks

I mean apple + click. I don’t know if the apple key is "command"…

Ok, so If I command+click a layout object with Move Tool, I can only select the layer Group, not the layer object. What does this depend on? Thanks

Check the Move Tool settings in its options bar. You may have Auto Select Layer checked. If that is the case, pressing the Apple key would disable the Auto Select Layer feature.

Great, that was the problem!! I must have accidentally changed the settings. Thanks a lot Charles! You have been very helpful.
