Ever since installing update 9.0.2 with this morning, Photoshop will open a file and display the image in Navigator, History and Layers palettes, but not display a full size image in the Photoshop window where it can be worked. I tried re-installing CS2 and the updater, but the effect is the same: Still no image to work on.

I’m on a Mac G5 Dual 2 GHz running OS 10.4.8 with 3 gigs of ram.

Thanks Ann, the Preference problem rears its ugly head about every six months or so…just infrequent enough to forget all about it. Trashing it got everything working again, but lost all the custom settings.
