Overlapping Text

I’m on a G4, OS 10.4.8 in Photoshop 7.

When I create a new layer and hit the text button, I cannot get the text to move to the next line. The layer acts like the text goes on forever if I use the space bar. If I hit return, and start typing, it overlaps with what I typed on the first line.

Any ideas?

two things.

with the text tool draw a text box first to constrain the text.

your leading does not match your type point size

I had done the text box thing – and it was overlapping within the constraints of the box I drew.

But the leading thing worked. Didn’t even think about it. Thanks!
