I have a lab of Mac’s (PPC-G5) running CS2 version 9.0.1 Photoshop. The Photoshop application locks up at no regular interval and regardless of user and after the user saves to an SMB share (successfully) then tries to also do a save as to a local folder. 9.0.2 does not appear to fix this either. Any suggestions?

We are seeing the same problem on Macs and Windows to SMB…The only fix we have found is to save to a file on the desktop, NEVER direct save to the server, CLOSE THE PROGRAM (any CS2), then either copy or drag file up to the server. 9.0.2 does not fix the problem.

We are also seeing something related to the dreaded psicon.dll (cannot save file as it is in use by another application…) When we attempt to delete files from the SMB server we get an error saying we cannot delete the file as it is in use. We think it may relate to students dragging the files to the server without closing the program first…
