NEWBIE! how do I take an image and make it have a round corner? I looked up round corner, but got no results.

sorry, I really don’t get that post. I tried a few things and don’t get the rounded corners in it.

a file is always a rectangle.

you can use the rounded rectangle tool to make a shape and use tat to round the corners of your layer. but it must be over a transparent background.

is that better?

As Buko said, your document will ALWAYS be a rectangle. You use a tool to make your shape an then make everything between your shape and the corners transparent.

….and if you have InDesign you can make a frame of any shape you want and put your photo in the frame.
