Is it possible to set a full character style, type with a drop shadow or an outer glow, to be applied to a document with a lot of layers at once? I see a way to create the drop shadow, and a way to change the text by shift-choosing and applying to linked layers, but there are a ton of layers and it’s cumbersome. The text is also all different sizes in the document and I don’t want to change the sizes.
Thanks in advance

Yes, I went into the style palette but it won’t let me make a character style. Font etc along with the other stuff. Is there something I’m missing with that?

how are you trying to add a new style?

You can’t make a text style like in ID.

Well, I tried a couple of ways but it wouldn’t let me do it. I highlighted the text, tried to add it in the style palette, tried to see if there was an option in the ctl click menu, etc.
So you can’t create a character style? That’s nuts! I’m surprised they don’t include this capability.

I’m surprised they don’t include this capability.

I’m not, PS is an image manipulation software, not a typesettign tool.

Yes but it sure would simplify things when you have a large document with many layers.
