HI,

when I open a file in a big folder and want to start strolling from the previously opened file, I have to start at the beginning of the folder. Photoshop (or Tiger, I am running 10.4.6) doesn’t remember my last opened file.
Is this a photoshop problem or Tiger ? (it also happened in 10.3) I have the same problem in Illustrator….
I am running Photoshop CS on a G-5

thanks!

Doesn’t it work for you if you go straight to the File menu > Open recent…?

That’s what that menu command is for.

It remembers the file in "open recent", the problem is when I go to File menu > Open I have to first double click the folder I was previously in ,then scroll down over all the files I just viewed (in the thumbnail window) .
In photoshop 7 (on a G-4) it would highlight the previously opened file so I could start strolling from there.

hope this all makes sense…

Actually, the File Browser in CS may also help. I don’t remember it that well.

I never use File > Open (Command O).
