I have a Windows 2003 Server with 3 hard drives. E:, F:, and G:.

I can save files from PS 7 to the E: and F: Drives but not the G: drive. I mean not anyplace on the G: drive.
I can save files from PS CS to all 3 drives.

Drive Information:
E: = 372GB Capacity with 73.4GB free
F: = 1.06TB with 578GB free
G: = 1.90TB with 1.21TB free.

Any ideas?

Thanks.

PS can’t save to any drive with more than 1 TB of free space. It’s actually an O/S problem that Adobe worked around in CS and later.

Photoshop 7 (and earlier) run into a Windows bug that prevents them from saving if the volume has more than 1 TB free space. The OS bug was worked around in Photoshop CS.

You can either fill up the drive until less than 1 TB is free. Or you can upgrade your copy of Photoshop.
