Hey kids,

Just got a color negative strip (4 image strip) STUCK in the Super Coolscan 4000. Any ideas to get it out without damage to the neg strip or the scanner?

Thankya.

An Outside Chance:
Try turning the power to the scanner off and then on again and see if using the Eject button from inside NikonScan will then work.

If your Nikon is still under Warranty, you might be able to plead that it was the fault of the machine?

If you do have to take the scanner apart, this is how to do it:

Good luck …!

Polaroid has a Dust and Scratch software that worked fairly well when I tried it…it’s free:
