Hello, I have an image of the United States opened in Photoshop that’s 8×10 I have the same image open in pain. I need to find the x and y coodinates of Orlando. In paint coordinates are 591, 480 and 601, 491. But in photoshop the coordinates are 7.960, 6.533 and 8.106, 6.633. Paint has the right coordinate. Why is it different in Photoshop, and how can I change it?

You have Photoshop to measure in inches or centimeters instead of pixels – change the units.

Are they both using the sam units of measurement? Sounds like PS is using decimal inches whereas Paint is using pixels. In PS you can change it on the info palette>palette options.

It’s obvious that Paint is right and Photoshop is just wrong, I’ve seen the light.
