Nancy and Brett, I asked about my PSE2 turning the photo into a negative look when I printed, and $39.00 and 5 calls to the Adobe helpdesk later, I finally have the solution. Right click on the desktop, properties, settings and the color was set at 256. Changed it to 16bit and wa la. problem solved. I had them stumped for a while too. Thought you might be interested in the answer. Thanks for your suggestions. Pam

Thanks for the feedback , Pam . We have had other inadvertent desktop switching to 256 colors in the past , but glad you found your problem.

Pam,

Good of you to come back with the "official" fix. Too bad none of us thought to ask you what your settings were, it being not uncommon for people to have incorrect values there. I had never associated a "negative look" with color bit. Actually if your system will support it, 24 or 32 bit is what most people run at.

Hope we’ll see more of you around here, you are a "class act" for supplying the feedback info from Adobe tech!!
