….. date on an image file. I have just purchased a Kodak Easyshare Image Viewer and cannot see any other way of loading images, in the order that I want them to load. So I need to change this date.

Create a new picture.

you can’t change the creation date because it wouldn’t be the creation date would it.

If the above quoted software does not do what you want then search for file utilities that can "touch" file. You can do this for free either in terminal or have AppleScript do the Shell for you, depends on how comfortable you are with either of them.
