I am using PSCS on OSX (10.4.4) powerbook 1gb ram. I’ve had CS installed on this machine for about a year with never a problem. Today, I am working on a piece and I go to add some bevel to a layer, as always I click on the little f on the bottom of layers pallet, the layer gets a bevel, but no dialog box pops up to make adjustments. It is just nowhere!! I have tried everything to try and locate the dialog box. I reset all the pallets to default, I’ve shut down, rebooted, thinking maybe its a ram/cache issue, nothing is working. I am running dual monitors, so I even unplugged the 2nd monitor in case the dialog box was stuck somewhere in between and out of view (I’ve had that experience once before) but it still nowhere. The layer style dialog box is just gone.

Has anyone ever experienced this problem and how can I fix it??!!

Very frustrated,
ross
