I am creating a large piece of artwork and using parts of hi res images in it. If i create the image as 72dpi whilst putting it together and then change the resolution to 300 dpi on completion, will all the pictures used remain at 300 dpi also?

MacBook Pro 16” Mockups 🔥

– in 4 materials (clay versions included)

– 12 scenes

– 48 MacBook Pro 16″ mockups

– 6000 x 4500 px

No. verything would drop to 72 then be uprated to 300 instead work at 300 and up rate low res stuf as you need it.

No, Any images you put into a 72ppi piece will become 72ppi. If you upsample it will look pretty horrible.

Why not start and stay with the correct resolution throughout?

I usually do the inverse method. start working in 300 dpi and if needed change to 72
