I have CS2 suite but Photoshop has gone bad.Delete ypur preferences file as per Help ( restart PS with the shift+alt+ctrl keys held down) then I’d dump Norton.
While I was working on a document it decided that it couldn’t read the type library and said reinstall the application.
So being the Suite I reinstalled the whole suite clean out the old and swept the disc with Registry Mechanic and Norton fix. Then I reinstalled the whole suite again. Applied the updates and was back to square one when the problem first occurred.
The rub is that even after reinstalling I have the same problem. The Type tool is not recognised the key command and I can’t type anything into Photoshop!
Most other functions in Photoshop work and the rest of the Suite work ok, it’s just this one.
Just what I needed after lunch on a Friday!
What’s going on guys?
Anyone had this problem and know how to fix it?
TIA Duncan
