I have a client who wants me to create an image of people dieting. He wants a regular photo to look something like an hourglass, that is, slim in the middle and fat on top. I can’t find any Photoshop effects that do that. Any help is appreciated…..thanks…Sam

The liquify filter will allow you to alter a photo like this.

Or the image could be brought into Illustrator (CS) and an envelope in the shape of an hourglass could be applied.
